Cover for Portuguese book "Se Acordar Antes de Morrer" (If I Wake Before I Die) by João Barreiros. It's a collection of horror short stories. The short story for the cover (with the same title as the book) tells the story of a robot who works at a shopping mall where he dresses up as a human Santa Klaus every year to hand out presents to the kids. However, this year things are a little different as the human population has turned into zombies.
I photographed my nephews for reference and had them play teen- zombies which was great fun (and helped me out a lot).
